Upcoming groups to Adapt to Our Times of Chaos
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are weathering the winter chaos well. There are several psychiatree groups springing up in March and April for anyone concerned about the state of our world. These groups can help to adapt to the challenges of our time including the climate crisis, the polarized political situation, and violence in Ukraine, the Middle East, and many other parts of the world. If you or anyone you know would benefit, please connect with me at [email protected]
Below are the group locations and timing for groups that still have a few spots left. If these don’t work for you, I also have a waiting list for a virtual group or if you have a group of 5+ people interested, we can organize a location and dates that work for you.
Location: Hard Feelings (353 Church Street)
Timing: Wednesdays from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Location: Michael Garron Hospital (for teens age 14-18)
Timing: Wednesdays from 4:00pm-6:00pm
Location: Neighbourhood Unitarian Universalist Congregation (310 Danforth) -co-facilitated with Gwen Schaurte (registered psychotherapist)
Timing: Wednesdays from 7:00pm to 9:15pm
Location: West Neighbourhood House (248 Ossington Ave)
Timing: Thursdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm
There are also other groups that are in the making, so stay tuned for more updates!
